All our guides on the Perlemoen Trail are qualified with the Field Guides Association of South Africa (FGASA).  They also all share a passion for guiding groups and sharing their extensive knowledge of the Cape South Coast.

F.G.A.S.A Marine and Field Guide. Area of specialisation: Marine Ecology, fynbos medicinal plants. Jason has over 30 years of adventure guiding experience, his professional but light-hearted manner and enthusiasm for people and his environment is fun and refreshing.

F.G.A.S.A. Marine and Field Guide. The fauna and flora of the Western Cape is my passion Being a nature guide is me living my passion. I am very interested in the harmony we find in nature. So how everything makes the picture complete. I have been a Nature guide since 2003. I have a love for poetry and photography. Getting people to appreciate our natural world is my effort to preserve our natural heritage one nature walk at a time.

F.G.A.S.A Marine and Field Guide Area of specialisation: Birds & Fynbos. Christoff has a passion for his work and an astounding Knowledge of local flora and fauna, arguably one of the most qualified guides in the Overberg.

Grant

Grant Hine has 30 years involvement in the nature guiding industry and a Masters degree in psychology. He ran the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa (FGASA) for 17 years. He conducts nature therapy and nature-based life coaching, meditation and mindfulness training. His focus and passion are on reconnecting people to nature allowing for the discovery of their true ecological self, taking advantage of the mental and physical benefits of spending time in nature. https://www.zenguiding.com/
